He married twice. He married Rosa Lee Finch December 9, 1909 in Vance Co., NC. Rosa was born August 9,1891 in Franklin Co., NC. Rosa was the daughter of James Simpson Finch and Cora Agnes Patterson. Rosa died September 6, 1927 in Rocky Mount, Nash Co., NC. He married Wilma Gertrude Gupton November 23, 1933 in Franklin Co., NC. Wilma was born May 6, 1911 in Franklin Co., NC. Wilma was the daughter of Jordan Frank Gupton and Jordan Frank Gupton. Wilma died March 10, 1998 in Henderson, Vance Co., NC.
