Entombment will follow at Lakeview Memorial Park.Wayne was born August 8, 1956 in Danville, Virginia to the late Woodrow Wilson Allgood and Virginia Robertson Allgood. He was an avid sports collector, bowler and golfer. Wayne was employed by Harris Teeter as a pharmacist and truly cared for each and every customer that brought prescriptions to him for filling. He was a member of Friendly Avenue Baptist Church.Surviving are his wife Sharon Boyd Allgood; children: David Wayne Allgood of Morrisville, NC, Brian Clark Allgood of Abingdon, VA and Rebecca Lynn Allgood of the home.

He married twice. He married Shaon Boyd.
