Thomas died September 12, 2003 in Fort Madison, IA. OBIT: Thomas Wyatt DONNELLSON, Iowa #45;- Thomas 'Tom' Flavius Wyatt, 69, of 2225 235th St., Donnellson, died Friday, Sept. 12, 2003, at the Fort Madison Community Hospital, Fort Madison. Services are 10 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 16, at the Barr Memorial Chapel, Fort Madison. The Rev. Larry Wallingford will officiate. Burial will be at the Fairview Cemetery, rural Fort Madison, with military rites conducted by the Veterans of Foreign Wars Color Guard Post No. 1805, the Marine Corps League and the American Legion Post No. 82. Visitation is after 1 p.m. today with family present, 6-8 p.m., at the chapel. A memorial has been established for the Lee County Health Department Hospice at the funeral home. Mr. Wyatt was born on Sept. 11, 1934, in Kansas City, Mo., the son of Harvey Clifton and Ola Mae White Wyatt. He married Helen Mae Arnold on April 25, 1974, in Carthage, Ill. She preceded him in death on April 1, 2002. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was a switchman for the Santa Fe Railroad, retiring after more than 30 years. He was a member of the Elks. He enjoyed dancing, playing pool and racing go-carts. Survivors include a son, Nelson Eugene Wyatt of Pennsylvania; four daughters, Deloma Wyatt of Forest City, Tamela Dawn McElroy of Muscatine, Brenda St. Clair and her husband, Thomas, of Farmington and Rhonda Weak and her husband, Elden, of Burlington; a brother, Howard Wyatt and his wife of Fort Smith, Ark.; a sister, Claudia Khul and her husband, Norman, of Lake of the Ozarks, Mo.; 12 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; and two brothers, LeRoy and Vincent. Show less
He married twice. He married Helen Mae Arnold April 25, 1074 in Carthage, IL. Helen was born 1940. Helen died April 1`, 2002 in Schaller, Sac Co., IA. He married Mildred Deloma Flint October 21, 1956 in Brookfield, Linn Co., MO. Mildred was born 1938.
