OBIT: Services honoring the life of Malcolm Wallace Anderson Sr. will be held Saturday, September 10, 2011 at Rose-Neath Chapel in Logansport, LA. Officiating the service will be Rev. Leon Manshack. Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.

Malcolm Anderson was born on December 20, 1933 in Stanley, Louisiana and entered into rest on September 6, 2011 at his residence in Bossier City.

Malcolm served his country in the U.S. Air Force 4 years and in the Active Reserve for 10 years; he retired from teaching in the public high schools after teaching for 35 years including 13 years at Bossier Parish Community College. Mr. Anderson was a member of First Baptist Church of Bossier City, where he served in the Bus Ministry for 9 years and was a resident of Bossier City for over 40 years (since 1967).

He married Ola Faye Crowell. Ola was born October 22, 1939. Ola was the daughter of Allen J. Crowell and Adele D. Aggeler. Ola died June 21, 1969.
