OBIT: Billy W. Doss, 69, of Evansville, passed away Friday, September 23, 2011. He was born September 26, 1941, in Central City, Kentucky.

He loved camping, fishing, building race cars and lived life to its fullest.

Billy was preceded in death by his wife, Diana Doss; and parents, Jesse and Mabel (Tooley) Doss.

He is survived by sons, Danny (Callie), Scott (Margaret) and Kevin (Shannon); daughter, Sheila Doss-Gauer; grandchildren, Stephanie (25), Lance (21), Justin (21), Leah (19), Alyssa (18), Cierra (15), River (13), Chandra (10), Abbygail (6), Kelley Jo (5), Kristina (3) and Melody (1); great-grandchildren, Aidan and Brock; brother, Ira (Jane); and sister, Juanita Conway (George Rust).

Services will be 2:00 PM Tuesday, September 27, 2011, at Alexander Memorial Park Heritage Chapel, 2200 Mesker Park Drive, with visitation from 12:00 PM until service time at the cemetery.
