He married Mary Frances Deese. Mary was born June 23, 1930 in Polk Co., GA. Mary was the daughter of James Edward Deese and Effie (__). Mary died Jujly 31, 2014. OBIT: Mary Frances Deese Yearty of Buchanan passed away Thursday, July 31, 2014 in a local health facility. She was born June 23, 1930 in Polk County, daughter of the late James Edward and Effie Deese. Mrs. Yearty was retired from Countryside Nursing Home where she worked as a dietitian. She was a member of Corinth Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Marian L. Yearty; a son, Larry Yearty; granddaughter, Kimberly Star Yearty and a brother, Alton Deese.
Survivors include a son, Dennis Yearty of Villa Rica, daughter, Elaine Morrison of Carrollton; daughter-in-law, Brenda Sanders Yearty of Bremen; eight grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and two great, great grandchildren; sisters, JoAnn and Gerald Redding, Bremen, Rose Kiser of Buchanan, Margaret Smith, Buchanan and a brother, Euel Deese of Waco.
Services will be Saturday, August 2 at 4:00 PM from graveside at Corinth Baptist Church Cemetery (if weather permits, otherwise services will be in the chapel at Hightower Funeral Home). Reverend Fred Cooke will be officiating the service. The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers, Barry Redding, Mark Mobley, Jason Yates, Brandon Garner, Justin Smith and Shane Deese. Interment will follow in Corinth Church Cemetery.
Marion L. Yearty and Mary Frances Deese had the following children:
