The 49th Annual Mather J. and Mary Wallace Davis Wood Reunion was held at the Smallwood Church and Wood Cemetery, Winston County, June 9. Those attending from Philadelphia included Beth Darby, Ollie Fay Wood Flint, Doyle Snow, Elmer Algood and wife Katherine. Former county residents attending included: Zane Wood Black; Smith Eckle Wood and wife Janet, Eufaula, Al; Ray Crosby and wife Faye, Columbus; Patricia (Pat) Wood Orr and husband, Bernie, Mobile, Al; George (Pete) Smith and wife Margie, Birmingham, AL; and Clayton Smith, Huntsville, Al; Lucille Wood served as President and Zane Black, Vice President. The program consisted of a brief biography of the family presented by Zane.
