Seventy one years ago my parents were leaving the farmhouse to start their honeymoon. My grandmother asked my father when they would get back. He walked over, wound the clock, and said they would return the day the weights were right here. And he pointed at spot near the bottom of the clock. Several days later when the weights were at that exact spot he and his bride walked through the door.
