Cave Hill Cemetery

It's been an interesting day. I crossed off another item on my bucket list. I finally visited Cave Hill Cemetery in Louisville, Kentucky today. I visited the resting places of Mohamad Ali, Colonel Sanders, George Rogers Clark, Patty Hill, a magician and a few more. If you love old grave markers and history, Cave Hill should be on your list!

This young lady devoted her life to children. The next photo shows Jesus with several children running to him that are around her grave.

Brittiney Bevin loved children. She is buried in front of Jesus and between the children running toward him.

Governor of Kentucky

Harry Collins, magician. Next photo is the marker over his grave.

Patty Hill and her sister Mildred are credited with writing the "Happy Birthday, to You" song.

George Rogers Clark's grave is on the left. Others are family members.

It is difficult to see, but water is trickling from her fingers into the pool below.

Note the two buckets of chicken on either side of his bust. My buddy, Mike Armstrong needs to see this one.
