There is a bright spot on the horizon. It appears to be a stadium I can see in the distance from a waiting room on the 11th floor’s burn unit, here at Vanderbilt Hospital. My future son-in-law went deer hunting out of season last Friday afternoon on his way home from work. He managed to bag one with his Harley. The nice thing about hunting deer with a motorcycle is that apparently you can cut them in half and process the carcass instantly. However there is a downside. Two hundred feet of road rash, a fractured skull, and a damaged aorta. Thankfully, he will recover in time. Prayers appreciated.
