Funeral services for Ruth Steed Allgood, 79, were held March 12 at Nowell-Tilghman Funeral Home Chapel. Interment followed at Doty Springs Baptist Church Cemetery. Allgood died March 10 at her home in Louisville.
Allgood was born January 14, 1924. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include one son, J.R. Willis of Philadelphia; five sisters, Dessie McCowan of Philadelphia, Lessie Burroughs of Louisville, Willard Ingram of McCool, Zola Black of McCool and Zona Burchfield of West Memphis, AR; two grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
