Military Service: 14 FEB 1862 - 12 MAY 1864 Private "G" Co., Army of Northern Va., CSA, Walton Sharpshooters Died in prison while a POW.

He married Mary Julia Allen June 2, 1853 Walton Co., GA. Mary was born abt 1835 in Walnut Grove, GA. Mary died July 8, 1874 in Walnut Grove, Walker Co., GA.

Coleman C Allgood and Mary Julia Allen had the following children:

 970 i. Nancy⁸ Allgood was born in Walton Co, GA April 11, 1854. Nancy died February 10, 1864 in Walton Co, GA.

 971 ii. James Samuel Allgood was born May 11,1854.

 972 iii. William Harvey Allgood was born December 1855.

 973 iv. Christi Meliasa Allgood was born November 4, 1858.

 974 v. Mary Virginia Allgood was born June 19, 1862.
