Caroline was the daughter of Shadrack Humphries and Mary Ann Matthews. Caroline died May 11, 1918 in Tallapoosa Co. AL. Caroline was buried at the Sardis Cemetery Near Walnut Hill, Tallapoosa County, AL Caroline was living with Emma in 1900 and 1910, and widowed.
