Annie Jaudean Gorden
Annie Jaudean Gorden, 76, of Paragould died Tuesday, Oct. 9, 2001, at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center in Paragould.
She was born Jan. 15, 1925, in Zauia, Miss.
She was a retired factory worker and a member of the Vines Chapel Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Irven Manuel Gorden, and her parents, Fletcher and Ruby Algood Vowell.
Survivors include one son, Tommy Lee Gorden of Weleetka, Okla.; three daughters, Gerri Redd of Greenbrier, Ruth Ann Smith of Paragould and Della Mae Higley of Hohenwald, Tenn.; one brother, J.V. Vowell of Gilbert, Ariz.; one sister, Freddie Mae Carpenter of Indianola, Miss.; nine grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Mitchell Funeral Home Chapel in Paragould with Charles Abernathy officiating.
Burial will be in Finch Cemetery.
Active pallbearers are Dewayne Smith, Shawn Johnson, Donnie Smith, Don Allen Gorden, Bill Mallard and Mike Bradley.
The honorary pallbearer is James Smith.
Visitation will be this evening from 6 to 9 at Mitchell Funeral Home in Paragould.
Annie Jaudean Vowell and Irven Manuel Gorden had the following children:
