OBIT: Russell Allgood, 13 years old, son of Mr. and Mrs. Sam Allgood of Berino, was instantly killed when the car which he was driving went into a bar pit and overturned near his home last night. The boy's head and chest were crushed, it was discovered, when the car was lifted from his body. He had started to see a friend, and was driving alone when the accident occurred. His father is employed with the International Boundary Commission. His mother left yesterday for a visit with relatives to Mississippi. He is survived by his parents, a brother, Alvin Allgood, and three sisters, Mrs. Angeline Everett, of Decatur, Miss, Mrs. Russell Darbyshire, El Paso, and Miss Patricia Allgood of Berino. His body was taken to the Kaster and Maxon Mortuary in El Paso. He was buried in the Memory Lane Cemetery (Bernie() Cemetery Berino Dona Ana Co., NM
