She married twice. She married Howard Charles Clark January 17, 1941 in Winston Co., MS. Howard was born in Alabama. She married Anzie Meek Stokes November 25, 1949 in Louisville, Winston Co., MS. Anzie was born October 19, 1916 in Louisville, Winston Co., MS. Anzie was the son of James Stokes and Virdie Bushlion. Anzie died April 17. 1968 in Louisville, Winston Co, MS. He is buried at Memorial Park Cemetery, Winston Co., MS Anne Stokes

Funeral services were held September 18, 2002, for Anne Stokes, 81, at the Porter Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Don Boone officiated and burial was at Memorial Park Cemetery.

Mrs. Stokes was born in Winston County on June 24, 1921, and diedSeptember 14, 2002,at the Winston Medical Center. She had been employed as a supervisor at Spartus and also was a supervisor at the Senor Citizens Center in Louisville.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Amzie Meek Stokes and is survived by two daughters, Betty Clark-Paul of Grangeville, Idaho, and Sylvia Kemp of Louisville; a brother, Spiva Keene of Louisville; three grandchildren, Tony Kemp, Charles B. Peeples, III, and Kymberleigh Kemp; and one great grandchild, Brandon C. Peeples.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church.

Porter Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.

Anne Laura Keene and Howard Charles Clark had the following child:
