AL He was baptized by G.J. Mason on the 3rd of July 1856. These Jacobs were Methodist & on Sunday morning Jim hitched up the buggy & started to church, all those ready rode & those who were not walked. On Sunday afternoon they took a nap, he read the Bible and Grit Paper to them, then they sat on the front porch and watched people who went by. He was a commissioner in Coosa County for several years and owned one of the first cars in Coosa County.

Myra was born July 5, 1882 in Camphill, AL. Myra was the daughter of Hapel Hammer. Myra died October 5, 1967 in Montgomery, Montgomery Co, AL. Myra is buried at Camphill, AL Hugh and Myra had no children.
9056 iii. Max Emmett Jacobs was born April 12, 1885.
9057 iv. Elmer V. Jacobs was born in Coosa Co., AL August 21, 1888. Elmer died March 24, 1985 in Coosa Co., AL. Elmer is buried Hanover, Coosa County, AL He married Ennis Matthews.
Ennis was born October 25, 1891 in Goodwater, Coosa Co., AL. Ennis was the daughter of Willis Dickerson Matthews. Ennis died December 14, 1975. Ennis was buried next to Elmer in the Hanover Cemetery, Coosa Co., AL Elmer and Ennis had no children.
