She married James Monroe Prescott June 2, 1911. James was born October 8, 1889 in Roanoke, Randolph Co., AL. James was the son of C. M. Prescott and Nan Radney. James died December 11,1938 in Birmingham, Jefferson Co, AL.

Edna Frances Douglas and James Monroe Prescott had the following children:
