Wanda died August 24, 2012 in Toccoa, Stephens Co., GA. OBIT: Ms. Wanda Joyce (Allgood) Wade Bailey, age 60, of Toccoa, formerly of Hartwell, died Friday, August 24, 2012 at her home. Born December 5, 1951, in Atlanta, she was the daughter of the late Hugh and Edna (Lambert) Allgood. She previously worked at the Hartwell Company. In 2009, Ms. Bailey received a Medical Assisting Degree from Athens Technical College. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law: Heather and Clay Rickman of Toccoa; granddaughter: Bailey Dobbs of Toccoa; and sisters: Susan Gorman of Lavonia, Brenda Cleveland of Bowersville, and Karen Allgood of Gainesville. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sons: Dustin and Daniel Wade. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday, August 27, 2012 at the Lavonia Chapel of Strickland Funeral Home with Rev. Nate Bunner and Rev. Phillip Maxwell officiating. Cremation will follow the service.
