Survivors include a son, Ron Vickers, Newnan; a daughter, Bobbie Jean Jenkins, Mobile, Ala; a brother, Jim Jackson, Kingsland, Tenn.; a sister, Margaret Atwell, Mt. Ulla, N.C.; and grandchildren Angela Boyer, Chris Vickers, Jack Vickers, Brenda Atkinson, Sonny Meeks and Darrell Meeks. There are nine great-grandchildren. Jones Funeral Home, Newnan, was in charge.
She married George Calvin Vickers September 1944 in Lucedale, George Co, MS. George was born June 9, 1921 in Semmes, Mobile Co., AL. George was the son of Joseph Vickers and Burnis (___). George died March 14, 1972 in Mobile, Mobile Co, AL. George is buried in Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Mobile, AL
