Robert changed his middle name from Holt to Hogue. Robert died May 1972 in Polk Co., GA.

He married Helen Edelmann July 17, 1939. Helen was born in Columbia, Richland co., SC. Helen died June 17, 2008 in Marietta, Cobb Co., GA. OBIT: Helen Helen Edelmann Hutcheson died peacefully at her Marietta residence on June 17, 2008. Mrs. Hutcheson was born in Columbia, SC and was a longtime resident of Marietta. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, Junior League, and was active with community volunteer work over the years. Service will be 6:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 25, 2008 in the chapel of First Presbyterian Church of Marietta with Rev. Denise Beltzner officiating. Helen will be well remembered for her wonderful sense of humor and generous spirit. She had a wide circle of friends and was loved by many. She married a native of Marietta, Robert H. Hutcheson, and died on their 69th wedding anniversary. She is survived by her husband, Bob, her son Robert G. Hutcheson (Reena Yonkosky) of Cumming, and her daughter Nell Hutcheson (Milly Waters) of Marietta. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the First Presbyterian Church of Marietta, 189 Church Street NE, Marietta, Georgia 30060. Mayes Ward-Dobbins Funeral Home and Crematory in charge of services.

SHORE YADKINVILLE - Mrs. Ethel Beamon Shore, 57, of Mahaney Rock Road, Yadkinville, passed away Monday, April 21, 2008, at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born Sept. 18, 1949, in Yadkin County to the late Luther and Ida Mae Allgood Beamon. Mrs. Shore helped in her community and worked as a nurse' s aid at Homestead Hills Retirement Center. She was a member of Gospel Way Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Russell Shore; and a brother, Johnny Luther Beamon. Surviving are her sisters, Shirley (Roger) Billings and Kathy (Mike) Ratledge, all of Yadkinville; adopted brother Kevin (Charlotte) Beamon of Yadkinville; 10 nieces, nine nephews, and several great-nieces and great-nephews. Her funeral service will be conducted at 4 p.m. Thursday, April 24, at Gentry Family Chapel, with the Rev. Allen Barker and the Rev. David Maynard officiating. Burial will follow in Gospel Way Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today, April 23, at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville. The family would like to express their gratitude to Forsyth Medical Center and Dr. Jerry Ziglar for all their loving care and support.
