Warren died March 20, 2001 in Marietta, Cobb Co., GA. Warren is buried in the Cheatman Hill Cemetery, Cobb Co., GA
He married Lovice Vernice Patty. Lovice was born August 1, 1919 in Rome, Tallapoosa Co., AL. Lovice was the daughter of Ira Matthew Patty and Elizabeth Amanda Hamrick. Lovice died November 21, 2010 in Marietta, Cobb Co., GA. OBIT: Mrs. Vernice Patty Hutcheson, age 92, passed away on Sunday, November 21, 2010 after a brief illness. Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, November 23rd in the Chapel of Carmichael Funeral Home in Marietta with Dr. William Camp officiating. Burial will be at Cheatham Hill Memorial Park Cemetery on Dallas Highway.
Mrs. Hutcheson was a native of Alabama, but she has lived in Marietta for over 50 years. She taught school in Cobb County and Haralson County for a total of 32 years. Mrs. Hutcheson was a graduate of Berry College and a member of Powers Ferry United Methodist Church. She was a Life Member of the Georgia Association of Educators and a Life Member of the Cobb County Association of Educators. She was also a member of Alpha Delta Kappa Sorority, a member of the Highway Garden Club, and a member of the Marietta Woman’s Club. Mrs. Hutcheson was preceded in death by her husband, Warren H. Hutcheson. She is survived by one son, Warren Timothy Hutcheson, one daughter, Patty Gale Thomas, a sister, Alma Crim of Birmingham, Alabama, and three grandchildren, Shawn Hutcheson, Jennifer Thomas Corbelli, and T. J. Thomas.
Mrs. Hutcheson greatly enjoyed her family, her religion, and the fellowship of the people around her. She will be greatly missed. e
