Ruby¹¹ Wood (Martha Florence Eufrasia¹⁰ Biggers, Martha Elizabeth (Mattie)⁹ Hutcheson, Ellen (Ellender)⁸ Hogue, Sarah (Sally) Hudson⁷ Allgood, William A.⁶, John Young⁵, William⁴ Algood, Edward³ Allgood, William², Edward¹ Algood) was born in Polk Co., GA March 23, 1910. Ruby died November 12, 2002 in Ashburn, Turner Co., GA. SYCAMORE - Services for Ruby Wood Mauldin, age 92, of Sycamore, GA, will be held at 2 p.m. today at Bethel Baptist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The Rev. Ken Kicklighter and the Rev. Donnie Duncan will officiate. Mrs. Mauldin died Tuesday, November 12, 2002, at Ashburn Health Care following a lengthy illness. Mrs. Mauldin was born in Polk County, GA, and had resided most of he life in Turner County. Mrs. Mauldin was the daughter of the late William David Wood Sr. and Martha Biggers Wood. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church where she was a former Sunday School teacher, a former member of the church choir and was a member of the Lydia Sunday School Class. She was a homemaker and the widow of Arthur Mauldin who died January 11, 1995. Survivors include a daughter, Carolyn M. Griffin, of Sycamore; brother, W.D. Wood Jr. of Ashburn; two sisters, Dura Kate McGill of Cordele and Christine Wood of Decatur; two grandchildren, Brad Griffin of Sycamore and Rhonda Griffin of Tifton; and two great grandchildren, Brandon and Caroline Griffin of Sycamore. The family will accept flowers; however, for those who wish in lieu of flowers, please make donations to Bethel Baptist Church Building Fund.

She married Arthur Mauldin October 16, 1927 in Turner Co., GA. Arthur was born December 25, 1907 in Turner Co., GA. Arthur was the son of Rufus Tucker Mauldin and Sara Jane Ross. Arthur died January 11, 1995 in Sycamore, Turner Co., GA.
