Eunice died June 10, 2003 in Des Moines, Polk Co., IA. ALBIA - Eunice Darlene Mangello, 82, of Albia died June 10, 2003, at her son's home in Carlisle.
She was born April 25, 1921, in Albia to Walter and Grace Sage Cozad. She married Mike Matt Mangello May 15, 1939, in Unionville, Mo.. He preceded her in death May 15, 1959.
She was a homemaker all her life.
Survivors include a son, Mike R. Mangello of Carlisle; four sisters, Edna Fanta and Marjorie Briles of Albia, and Betty Reno and Geraldine Spielman of Chicago, Ill.; a brother, James Cozad of Albia; two grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and a great-great-granddaughter.
She was preceded by her parents; her husband; five sisters, Marcella, Barbara and Bernice Cozad and Martha Malone and Louise Shipman; and five brothers, Floyd, Donald, Roy, Lester and William Cozad.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday at Winfield Funeral Home in Albia, the Rev. Richard Grimes officiating.
Burial will be in Oakview Cemetery at Albia.
Visitation begins at 9 a.m. today at the funeral home; the family will be present from 6 to 8 p.m.

She married Mike M. Mangello May 15, 1939 in Unionville, Putnam Co., MO. Mike was born June 25, 1882 in Italy. Mike died May 15, 1959 in Albia, Monroe Co., IA. Mike is buried in Oak View Cemetery, Monroe Co., IA
