OBIT: Michael Ulma Holloway, 40 of Hamilton died Saturday, August 18 at St Francis Hospital. Graveside funeral services will be held 11 a. m. Tuesday, August 17 at Newsome Cemetery with Reverend Jeff Parmer officiating. Visitation will be today from 6 p. m. to 8 p. m. at Colonial Funeral Homes, 613 14th Street, Phenix City, AL. Mr. Holloway was born April 26, 1964 in Columbus son of Ulma Holloway of Columbus and the late Betty Simmons Holloway. He retired from Columbus Carpet Mills Store and worked at victory Auto Parts as a Delivery Driver. He was a member of Antioch Baptist Church. Survivors include his father, Ulma Holloway and wife Maude of Columbus, Grandmother, Wilma Whiddon of Columbus; sisters Rebecca Holloway Fortson of Hamilton and Amy Holloway Singell and husband Tim of Winston, GA; step-sister Rebecca Chester and husband Jim of Phenix City, Sue Driggers and Martha Jane McGowan both of Columbus; brother Jimmy Holloway and wife Lynn of Columbus; step-brother David McLain and wife Judy of Phenix City; numerous nieces and nephews.
