Dorothy died December 31, 2008 in Phenix City, Russell Co., AL. OBIT: Dorothy Marie Faulk, 52, of Phenix City, Alabama died Wednesday, December 31, 2008 at her home. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday January 5th at the Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, Phenix City Chapel with the Reverend Kenny Coxwell officiating. Interment will be Lakeview Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends Sunday afternoon from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Mrs. Faulk was born October 22, 1956 in Ft. Leonardwood, MO., daughter of Willie Merle Newsome Doherty of Phenix City and the late William D. Doherty. She was the parts manager for Helms Brothers auto body repair in Columbus, GA, and Catholic by faith. Other than her father Mrs. Faulk is preceded by two daughters, Amber Faulk and Jessica Faulk. Survivors other than her mother, include her husband, David Faulk of Phenix City, daughters and son-in-law, Amanda Danielle and Elijah Rodriguez, Montana Bell Faulk, sisters and brothers-in-law, Cheri and Ernest Pope, Judith and Charles Weathers, Cynthia Doherty, all of Phenix City, brothers and sisters-in-law, William and Sandra Doherty of Chesterfield, VA., Robert and Robin Doherty of Smiths Station, AL., Dennis and beth Doherty of Selma, AL., Thomas and Teresa Doherty of Phenix City, father-in-law and mother-in-law, Benjamin and Sara Faulk of Phenix City, numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Dorothy Marie Doherty and David Earl Faulk had the following children:
