He married Mary M. Roades Apri 16, 1885 in Clay Co., IL. Mary was born February 18, 1863 in MO. Mary was the daughter of James W. Roades and Catherine Fravel. Mary died January 22, 1929 in altamont, Effingham Co., IL.

Gabriel Alexander Parish and Mary M. Roades had the following children:

 3976 ii. Ray Robeson Parish was born September 26, 1889.

 3977 iii. infant Parish was born in Clay Co., IL January 16, 1891. Infant died January 20, 1891 in Clay Co., IL.

 3978 iv. infant Parish was born in Clay Co., IL January 16, 1891. Infant died January 20, 1891 in Clay Co., IL. The twins girls are buried at Elmwood Cemetery, Clay Co., IL One of two twin girls who died 4 days after birth.

 3979 v. Frank Parish was born December 18, 1895.

 3980 vi. Catherine Parish was born in Clay Co., IL July 1896.

 3981 vii. Louella Parish was born in IL 1901.

 3982 viii. Chlora Parish was born in IN 1903.
