Jesse died November 11, 1978 in Springfield, Greene Co., MO. Obit: Funeral services for Jesse E. Hill, Sr., 78, Strafford, were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, November 14, in the Wayside Funeral Chapel in Strafford with Rev. Darrell Massey officiating. Burial was in the Hill Cemetery in Buffalo.

Mr. Hill died Saturday morning, November 11, in Cox Medical Center in Springfield. He was a retired construction worker adn for the past eight years was manager of the Muller Brothers Car Wash in Sprinfield.

Surviving are his wife, Irene; four daughers, Mrs. Janice Tye, Independence, Mrs. Connie S. Bruner, Springfield, Mrs. Carriebelle Link, Camdenton, and Mrs. Garet Ruth Hill, Minneapolis, Minnesota; two sons, Jesse E. Jr., Springfield, and Bill J. Hill, Muncie, Kansas; one sister, Mrs. Oma Lorraine Gilmore, Memphis Tennessee; one brother, John Springfield and 12 grandchildren.

He married Irene Ware in Greene Co., MO. Irene was born December 28, 1913. Irene died September 8, 1993. Irene was buried in the Hill Cemetery, Dallas County, Missouri
