He married Augusta M. Langner July 17, 1948 in Berlin, Germany. Augusta was born November 27, 1926 in Munich, Germany. Augusta was the daughter of Gustav Langner and August Muller. Augusta died September 13, 2001 in Carrollton, Greene Co., IL. OBIT: Augusta M. Flick, 74, died at 4:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 13, 2001, at Reisch Memorial Nursing Home in Carrollton.
Born in West Germany on Nov. 27, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Gustav and August (Muller) Langner.
A member of the Carrollton United Methodist Church, she was a former member of the P.E.O.
She married Leslie Flick on July 17, 1948, in West Germany. He died Sept. 4, 1998.
Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, William "Bill" and Ann Flick of Burr Ridge; and a grandson, Paul Flick of Chicago.
She was preceded in death by a brother and a sister, Gustav and Louisa.
Memorial services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 22, at the Carrollton United Methodist Church in Carrollton.
