35. Elizabeth (Betsy)5 Allgood (Ishmael4, Edward3, William2, Edward1 Algood) was born in Mecklenburg Co., VA 1765. Elizabeth died November 1822 in Mercer Co., KY.
She married William A Blacketter II December 24, 1793 in Mecklenburg Co., VA. Their marriage is recorded in the Marriage License Bonds of meckenburg Co., VA 1765-1810; page 5
William was born 1776/1781 in Mecklenburg Co., VA. William was the son of William Blacketter and Rachel Mary (___). William died 1822 in Mercer Co., KY. Abstract of William's will. Mercer Cty, KY Will Book 7, pp. 147-149 He leaves his farm stock and designates money for his wife Margaret (Lockman) Blacketter to purchase land in Indiana and relocate there. He gives one horse beast to each of his older sons - William, Alexander, Wesley, John H. and Spencer. He leaves a bed, one cow and calf to his daughter Rachel. He leaves a bed and some furniture to his sister-in-law Charlotte Lockman. Then he states "I also wish my youngest children to be raised on my estate and be made equal with my oldest - David, Thomas, Elisabeth, Jefferson and Olive." The balance of his estate to be sold and divided equally amongst all his children.
The theory is, that his elder children are the product of his first marriage to Elizabeth Allgood. The youngest children are considered the product of his marriage to Margaret.

108 iv. Rachel Blacketter was born in Deep Creek, Mercer Co., KY 1804. She married Owen Griffith May 29, 1825 in Bartholomew Co. IN. Owen was born 1804.
109 v. John Henry Blacketter was born February 16, 1806.
110 vi. John Spencer Blackketter was born March 4, 1809.
111 vii. Margaret E. Blacketter was born in IN 1833. Margaret died in KS.
