He married Myrtle Ray Todd March 17, 1928 in Cushing, Payne Co., OK. Myrtle was born August 5, 1899 in Indian territory, OK. Myrtle was the daughter of Charles Alonzo Todd and Mary Ellen Cottrill. Myrtle died May 12, 1964 in Wetumka, OK.
