He married twice. He married Bessie Cordelia Hopper. Bessie was born August 3, 1882 in MO. Bessie was the daughter of Lewis Harlan Hopper and Lucinda Eveline Crews. Bessie died March 10, 1953 in Kansas City, Jackson Co., MO. He married Nora Lewis. Nora was born 1893 in Naper, Holt Co., MO.
John David Cleveland Harris and Bessie Cordelia Hopper had the following children:

Charles was born Ssptember 9,1908 in Ninescah, Kingman Co., KS. Charles was the son of David Webster Housh and Lela Mae (___). Charles died November 20, 1962 in Los Angeles City, Los Angeles Co., CA.
