Joyce died June 22, 2006 in South Bend, St Joseph Co., IN. Obit: Joyce Lee Burrl, 67, of Niles, Mich., formerly of Rector, died Thursday, June 22, 2006 in Memorial Hospital at South Bend, Ind.
She was born June 23, 1938, in Paragould to the late Everett Highfil and Audie Walker and was married Dec. 22, 1984 to Jack Burr. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.
Also preceding her in death were three brothers, James, Danny and Harry Highfil and one sister, Mary Sterling.
Surviors include her husband, Jack Burr; children, Danny and Sheila Leiss of Mt. Morris, Mich., Rich and Marcy Leiss of Flint, Mich., Sheila and Charles Harris of Wayland, Mich., Max Ross of Edwardsburg, Ky., and Lesa and Joe Morgan of Picacho, Ariz.; three sisters, Barbara and Arlos O'Dell of St., Charles, Mo., and Sharon Grubbs and Annetta Greenway, both of Piggott; 13 grandchildren, seven great-grand children, six step-grandchildren and five step-great-grand children.
Funeral services were at 2 p. m. Sunday, June 25 at Irby Funeral Home Chapel in Rector with Bro. Jimmy Parrish offiiating. Burial was in Mitchell Cemertery at Greenway with Irby Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Pallbearers were Terry Burr, Josh Ross, Tommy Sisneros, Harry Highfill, Shawn Moore and Bruce Burr.
She married three times.
