Don Robinson officiating. Burial will be a Springhill Cemetery. Mrs. Walker died June 18, 1992 in Shreveport, LA. Mrs Walker, was a member of Rebecca Lodge of Monroe for 45 years. Survivors include: her daughter; Laverlan Desoto of Minden, La; granddaughter, Jeane Alston of Dallas, TX; two grandsons, Billy DeSoto of Minden, LA and David DeSoto of Dallas, TX, brother Charles d. Wallace of Minden, LA and two sisters, Myrtia Robinson of Bonita, LA and Martha Watson of monroe, LA. Pallbearers will be Paul watson, Dan Watson, JR.., Carl Watson, William Laven, Billy DeSoto, and Frank Chin. Visitation will be 10:00 a.m. until service time.
She married John Luther Walker JR January 3, 1934 in Monroe, Ouachita Parish, LA. John was born March 17, 1912 in Swartz, Ouachita Parish, LA. In 1930 John was living with his father and grandfather in Quachita Parrish, LA John was the son of John Luther Walker and Bertie McQuiller.
John died April 1, 1985 in Sibley, Webster Parish, LA. .John was buried in the Springhill Cemetery, Swartz, LA
