Willis Wilkerson officiating. Interment will follow in Loch Arbor Church Cemetery. Mrs. Winnon, a homemaker and member of Loch Arbor Baptist Church, passed away Wednesday, May 23, 2007 at Morehouse General Hospital. She is survived by three daughters, Jamie Rawls, Cathie Bennett and Denise Johnson; four sons, Tommy, Randy, Ronnie and Brian Winnon; nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Mrs. Winnon is preceded in death by her husband, James A. Winnon; grandson, Derek Winnon; parents, Thomas and Mary Cranford; sister, Ida Skipper; six brothers, A.C., Penn, James, Anderson, Andrew and Hardy Cranford. Serving as pallbearers are Jason Rawls, Gary Bennett, Stephen Johnson, and Stevie, Brad, and Brandon Winnon. Visitation will be held Thursday, May 24, 2007 from 5:00PM until 8:00PM at Golden Funeral Home.
She married James Almo Winnon November 25, 1939 in Monroe, Ouachita Parish, LA. James was born May 16, 1916. James was the son of Ben W. Winnon and Mary Marcilite Freeman. James died November 9, 1987 in Monroe, Quachita Parrish, LA. James was buried in the LaLocharber Cemetery, Quachita Parrish, LA
