He married Wanda Elizabeth Fearis. Wanda was born July 8, 1911 in Lewis Co., KY. Wanda was the daughter of E. B. Fearis and Ada M. (___). Wanda died April 10, 2004 in Henderson, Henderson Co., KY. OBIT: Wanda Howard, 92, of Hopkinsville, KY, formerly of Louisville, died Saturday, April 10, 2004, at Christian Health Center. She was the former Wanda Fearis, born July 8, 1911, in Fearisville, KY. She was a homemaker, a member of St. Matthews United Methodist Church, a charter member of Great House Homemakers and a volunteer at Baptist Hospital East. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wendell E. Howard, a former chief executive officer of Kentucky Farm Bureau Insurance Company, who died in 1994. Survivors include her sons, Dr. Ronald F. Howard and Wendell "Denny" Howard; a daughter, Phyllis A. Weaver; nine grandchildren; and 10 great-grand-children. Her funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Highlands Family-Owned Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Rd., with burial in Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Monday. Memorial gifts may be made to St. Matthews United Methodist Church.
