Pleasant died August 28, 2002 in Jonesboro, Craighead Co., AR. OBIT: Pleasant George Clark, 79, of Lepanto died Wednesday, Aug. 28 at St. Bernard's Regional Medical Center in Jonesboro. He was a minister for the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), Army Veteran of World War II.

He was preceded in death by two spouses, Myrtle Ruth Scott Clark and Mary Louise Clark; five brothers and four sisters.

He is survived by one son, Brad Clark of Lepanto; one daughter in law, Ginger Clark of Lepanto and three grandchildren, Christie, Adam and Bucky Chamberlin all of Lepanto.

The Funeral took place on Saturday, Aug. 31 in a graveside service at Elmwood Cemetery in Blytheville. Tom Carney of the First Christian Church of Trumann officiated.

He married twice. He married Myrtle Ruth Scott. Myrtle was born in Paragould, Greene Co, AR. Myrtle died in Paragould, Greene Co, AR. He married Mary Louise (___).

Pleasant George Clark and Myrtle Ruth Scott had the following child:
