He married Mildred Parker August 2, 1941. Mildred was born March 3, 1923. Mildred was the daughter of Herschel Parker and Rosa Wolfe. Mildred died July 9, 2010 in Waterloo, Monroe Co., IL. OBIT: Mildred (Parker) Jamerson 87, of Waterloo, IL formerly of Eldorado died Friday July 9th, 2010 at the Canterbury Nursing Center in Waterloo. Mildred was the daughter of Herschel and Rosa Wolfe Parker and they preceded her in death. She is survived by her husband of 68 years Lowell Jamerson of Columbia and formerly of Eldorado. Also surviving are her 2 daughters : Karen Jamerson (Charles) Thompson of Columbia, IL ; Larna Jamerson (Randy) Kirsch of McLeansboro, IL. 5 grandchildren Seth (Mimi) Thompson of Webster Groves, MO, Kyle (Cecily) Thompson of House Springs, MO, Lori Kirsch Anderson (Ben) of Boynton Beach, FL, Christopher (Melissa) Kirsch of Akron, OH and Caleb Kirsch of Louisville, KY and 2 Great Grandchildren Sasha Thompson and Damaris Thompson. Two brothers - Harry (Betty) Parker of Fenton , MO and Raymond (Jean) Parker of Fairfield, IL Visitation will be held Friday July 16, 2010 at the Gospel Assembly Church, 1401 Mahoney Street, Eldorado, IL 5:00 - 8:00 pm and Funeral services will be Saturday July 17, 2010 at 1:00 pm at Eldorado Gospel Assembly Church with burial in Olive Branch Cemetery in Wayne City, IL
