Virginia Rosemary11 Fryman (Jerome Lee10, Charles Enoch9, Mary Eleanor C.8 Hornick, Rachel7 Baity, Rebecca6 Allgood, William (Pikey) Henry5, William John4, Edward3, William2, Edward1 Algood) was born in Flat River, St. Francois Co., MO May 13, 1919. Virginia died March 13, 2014 in Fort Morgan, Morgan Co., CO. OBIT: Born May 13,1919, in Flat River, Missouri, the third of seven children and first daughter to Jerry Lee Fryman and Myrtle Davis Fryman. They moved to Fredricktown, Missouri, in her early years. She enjoyed those years playing her favorite sport, baseball, with her brothers and other school and church friends. She enjoyed it so much, she would even skip school to play an afternoon game of baseball. The one day she didn't skip with the other kids is the day they all got caught. Virginia played the piano at the Higdon country church. Virginia had planned to teach school after graduation, but at the time for her final examination, her great grandfather passed away. She missed the final test and decided not to pursue it further. Her early careers included helping her dad in his convenience store, working in a department store, and working at Brown shoe factory. It was while she was working at the shoe factory that she met her future husband, Jim "Mac" McAden. Mac had come to Fredricktown with an army buddy and had already heard about Virginia. But Virginia was used to being independent and already had planned a weekend with her aunt and uncle near St. Louis. She was polite to Jim, but left him standing. Jim had seen what he liked and pursued her. After going together for a while, they decided to get married. Jim had a weekend off and to avoid waiting for blood tests, they eloped to Pocahantas, Arkansas, in January, 1952, accompanied by the same army buddy, his wife, and Virginia's youngest brother, Charlie. The officiant owned the hardware store, but was also a pastor. The newlyweds lived in Ft. Leonard Wood, Missouri, until Mac was sent to Korea. Virginia went back to Fredricktown. When Jim got out of the army, they lived in Fredricktown and Virginia worked at the department store. She had her baby boy, Steven, in January,1957. She wasn't off work long before the department store needed her. She was reluctant to leave Steve, but had the perfect babysitter situation as he was used to staying with Grandpa. It was during this time that Jim and Virginia, with the help of family and friends, built ther own house. But Jim's company closed down and he lost his job. He came to Denver and got a job. They had tosell their beloved home, leave her family and move to Denver to live with Jim's family until they could get a house. They moved to a brand new home in Thornton on Pennsylvania Way. She had a beautiful rose garden. When Steve started school, Virginia got a job in the school lunchroom, eventually becoming Cafeteria Manager, and retiring in 1982. Steve graduated from high school and then in 1977, they purchased their townhouse in Northglenn. The idea of less grass was foremost in their minds, but Virginia still grew roses.Tara was born in 1984, and by then Jim had retired because of a heart condition. But this allowed Virginia and Mac to babysit.Virginia loved reading books and singing with Tara. They would regularly take walks to the park, including Justine when she was born in 1987. They loved being grandparents to their precious girls. Jim Mac McAden died suddenly in 1995, but Virginia bravely soldiered on, being a faithful church member, as she had her entire life, reading her Bible, cooking for family and friends, and basically loving everyone she came in cotact with. When Steve married Jayne in 2000, Virginia also got a grandson, Zach. The whole family had wonderful dinners, game nights, practical jokes and fun together. One Easter, Steve and the kids went to a Rockies game. Jayne and Virginia stayed home and hid plastic Easter eggs. When the kids couldn't find them all, they asked her where the rest of them were. She replied, she didn't know and was as excited as the kids or more so when they found another one. Steve and Jayne found another one when they moved to Wiggins in 2003. Virginia lived a couple of years at Wiggins Assisted Living until its closing. She then moved to Brush to Aladdin Assisted Living for several years. The last 15 months, Virginia has lived at Valley View Villa in Fort Morgan. The family wishes to thank each and every loving person that cared for her during that time. Your love, kindness, and compassion for Virginia and others you care for is deeply appreciated. Virginia is preceded in death by her parents, five siblings, her husband, one great grandson Edward. She leaves behind numerous family members, church friends and other friends. Heaven is her new home and she has earned the ultimate reward for her faith.

She married James D McAden January 1952 in Pocahantas, AR. James was born July 8, 1929. James was the son of Alva R McAden and Dorothy E. Gray. James died September 29,1995 in Wheat Ridge, Jeffeson Co. CO.
