Rodney was born on December 11, 1958 in Haralson County, Georgia the son of Clara Ballenger Goldin and the late Douglas Goldin.
Employed in the construction field and member of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church.
In addition to his father, he was also preceded in death by a sister, Theresa Ann "Cissy" Goldin
He is survived by his mother, Clara Ballenger Goldin of Bremen; daughter, Haley Leighanne Goldin of Temple; son and daughter in law, Doug & Holly Goldin of Marietta; sisters, Linda & Bobby Entrekin of Bremen, Angela Hutcheson of Douglasville, Shelia Biddy of Canton and Janice Collins of Carrollton; brothers, Danny & Sue Goldin of Temple and Frankie & Tina Goldin of Indiana.
Funeral Services will be conducted Tuesday, June 12, 2007 at 2 PM from Draketown Baptist Church with Reverend Jason Owens, Reverend Wendell Rush and Reverend Clarence Agan officiating. John Entrekin, David Collins, Don Collins, Patrick Goldin, Allen Biddy, Brian Goldin and Matt Hutcheson will serve as pallbearers. Corley Goldin, John Goldin and David Johnson will serve as honorary pallbearers.
Interment will follow in Draketown Baptist Church Cemetery.
Rodney Douglas Goldin had the following children:
