Darrell Norman¹² Jarvis (Virgil Leon¹¹, Verna May¹⁰ Taylor, Myrtle Stella⁹ Hutson, Louellen⁸ Staggs, Rachel⁷ Allgood, Spencer⁶, Edward⁵, William⁴ Algood, Edward³ Allgood, William², Edward¹ Algood) was born in Crawfordsville, Montgomery Co., IN April 24, 1953. Darrell died February 18, 2012 in Kokomo, Howard Co., IN. OBIT: Darrell N. Jarvis, 58, of Kokomo, passed away at 4:47 AM, Saturday, February 18, 2012 at Howard Regional Health System. He was born April 24, 1953 in Crawfordsville, Indiana to Matilda (Timberlake) and Virgil Jarvis. On October 25, 1975 at Attica Christian Church, he married Vicki (Ruark) Jarvis, and she survives. He graduated from Attica High School in 1971, and later graduated from Purdue University in 1996. He had worked for Indiana State Highway, Radio Materials Corp., Myers Steel, Fountain Foundry, Harrison Steel, Navistar, CTS Microelectronics, Super 8 Motel, and had done some tutoring. He was a member of Chapel Hill Christian Church. He was a former member of Bass Masters of Fountain and Warren Counties. He was also a former member of the Lions Club, and the Eagles, both of Attica. He coached Farm, and Little Leagues in Attica. Darrell enjoyed fishing, golf, bowling, reading, sci-fi, and collecting coins, airplanes, and Coca Cola items. One of his favorite things was spending time with his granddaughter Daysi.

Survivors include, his wife Vicki; mother Matilda and stepfather Bob Lane, Attica; son, Roderick Jarvis, Lafayette; Ryan and wife Melinda Jarvis, Kokomo; granddaughter, Daysi Jarvis, Kokomo; sister, Lisa and husband Jeff Mitton, Attica; brother, Brian Jarvis, West Lebanon.

He was preceded in death by his father Virgil, two sisters, two brothers, and his grandparents.

A Memorial Service will be held at 3 PM Sunday, February 26, 2012 at Chapel Hill Christian Church, 2600 W. Alto Road, Kokomo, with Pastor Steve Allen officiating. Friends may visit with the family from 2:30 - 3:00 PM Sunday at the church.

Darrell Norman Jarvis and Vicki Deane Ruark had the following children:
