Funeral services will be Saturday at noon at the Laughlin-Brown Chapel. Other surviors, three grandchildren, sisters, Josephine Sanford, Catherine Scruggs, both of Gadsden, Brothers, Robert Howard and Roy all of Gadsden, Arby Ray of Fayetteville, NCGordon Mayben of Jonesboro, Ga.The family will recxeive friends after 3 pm today at the funeral home. She married Vernon Edward Scuggs. Vernon was born July 11, 1935 in Spartanburg, Spartanburg Co., SC. Vernon was the son of Ulysees Simpson Scruggs and Pearl Mary Hill. Vernon died June 25, 1941 in Madison, Madison Co., AL. Donald was buried in the Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, Spartanburg,Spartanburg Co., SC
