John died February 7, 2008 in Abilene, Taylor Co., TX. OBIT: John Charles Yardley, 64, of Cisco passed away Thursday, February 7, 2008, in Abilene.Services will be Sunday at 2 p.m. in the Kimbrough Funeral Home Chapel, officiated by Reverend Billy Sellers. Burial will follow in the Oakwood Cemetery under the direction of Kimbrough Funeral Home. The family will greet friends from 1 - 2 p.m. Sunday prior to the Services.
Charles was born to John Dalton and Winnie Lou (Rodgers) Yardley July 3, 1943, in Amarillo, Texas. He graduated from Cisco High School and worked in Construction as a truck driver and painter. He was a member of First Baptist Church.
He is survived by two sisters: Linda Taylor and Janey Biggs and husband, Ray, of Abilene and son, Jeffery Yardley of Houston. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
He married three times.
John Charles Yardley and Dolores Darlene Batteas had the following child:
