OBIT: Funeral for former Tipton resident Carl Randall Burrows, 80, Vernon, Texas, will be at 4 p.m. today at Tipton Church of Christ with grandson William Jay Horsley and Keith Shackleford officiating. Mr. Burrows died Thursday, May 22, 2003, at a Vernon care center. Burial will be at Tipton Memorial Cemetery under direction of Gray Gish Tipton Funeral Home. Survivors include three sons: Donald Steve Burrows, LaFlore; David Glen Burrows, Tipton; and Dale Alan Burrows, Flower Mound, Texas; a daughter, Corliss Ruth B. Horsley, Vernon; a stepson, Robert Bibb, Garland, Texas; two brothers: Phil Burrows, Colorado; and Gary Burrows, California; eight grandchildren; a stepgrandson; and 16 great-grandchildren.

He married twice. He married Wanna LaFlora Raines July 4, 1942. Wanna was born July 22, 1925. Wanna died December 1, 1980 in Tipton, Tillman Co., OK. He married Helen M. Doud October 6, 1983. Helen was born April 22, 1911. Helen died September 21, 1994.
