She married Jerry Glenn Parker September 13, 1952 in Mangum, Greer Co., OK. Jerry was born January 1, 1934 in Greer Co., OK. Jerry was the son of Fred Foscue Parker and Josie May Wilemon. Jerry died May 3, 2006 in Lubbock Co., TX. OBIT: Funeral Services for Jerry Parker, 72, of Lubbock will be at 2 p.m., Saturday, May 6, 2006, at Sanders Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park under the direction of Sanders Funeral Home. Family will receive friends at Sanders Funeral Home from 6 to 8 p.m., Friday. Jerry went home on May 3, 2006. He was born January 1, 1934 to pioneer parents in Greer County, Okla. Jerry married Betty Bryant on September 13, 1952 in Mangum, Okla. He served in the Army from 1956 till 1962. A long time resident of the panhandle, Jerry served Lubbock as a police officer from 1966 to 1985.
He is survived by one sister, Ruth Fox; five brothers, Bill, Junior, Dewey, Ted and Kenny; his children, Julie Evans and husband Bobby, Rynn Parker and wife Anna, Cristana Carson and husband Bob, and Bret Parker and wife Rebecca; 12 grandchildren, and 1 / great grandchildren.
Jerry was preceded in death by his wife, Betty, in 1994.
Beloved husband, father, and grandpa, you will be missed.
