She married John Jacob Magenheimer October 16, 1888 in Henderson Co., KY. John was born 1864 in Henderson Co., KY. John was the son of J. Magenheimer and Henrietta (__). John died March 3, 1889. The 1900 census shows Hallie as widowed at this time.

Hallie Sandefur and John Jacob Magenheimer had the following children:

 4834 i. Effie May⁹ Magenheimer was born October 14, 1889.

 4835 ii. Hallie Magenheimer was born in TN Janury 1892. Hallie died July 5, 1902 in Henderson Co., KY.
