5073. Walter John9 Leisure (James Wilkerson8, Nancy Ann7 Keeton, Wilkerson6, Nancy Ann5 Allgood, Moses4, Edward3, William2, Edward1 Algood) was born in Manchester, Grant Co., OK October 29, 1905. Walter died November 28, 1952 in Anthony, Harper Co., KS.

He married Blanche Alvera Pryor June 1, 1941. Blanche was born August 24, 1906. Blanche was the daughter of John Allen Pryor and Clara Amelia Wedell. Blanche died November 6, 2001 in Lawrence, Douglas Co., KS. OBIT: Blanche Alvera Replogle was born Aug. 24, 1906, in Bluff City, the daughter of John Allen and Clara Amelia (Wedell) Pryor.

Mrs. Replogle was a graduate of Northwestern University. She taught grade school for more than 40 years. She started teaching in the 1920s, and from 1957 until her retirement she taught first grade at Schwegler School.

She was a member of Plymouth Congregational Church.

She married Walter John Leisure on June 1, 1941. He died Nov. 28, 1952. She married Glenn H. "Skinny" Replogle on May 23, 1957, in Anthony. He died Oct. 14, 1990.

Survivors include four sons, Walter John Leisure, Sikeston, Mo., Rex Wayne Replogle, of Colorado, Ray Max Replogle, Wayne, Neb., and Donald Lee Replogle, Waynoka, Okla.; a brother, Arnold A. Pryor, St. Louis; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Walter John Leisure and Blanche Alvera Pryor had the following child:

 13689 i. Walter John10 Leisure JR was born in Wichita, Sedgwick Co., KS March 22, 1944. Walter died August 5, 2004 in Carriacou, Grenada, West Indies. OBIT: Walter John Leisure, 60, formerly of Sikeston and Lawrence, Kan., died Aug. 5, 2004, in Carriacou, Grenada, West Indies, while aboard his sailboat, of an apparent heart attack. Born March 22, 1944, in Wichita, Kan., son of the late Walter Leisure and Blanche and Glenn Replogle, he had been employed with Associated Electric Cooperative in New Madrid. Following his retirement, he and his wife cruised the Caribbean aboard their sailboat, Illusions.

His wife, Debbie Jones Milam Leisure, survives of the home.

Other survivors include: one stepdaughter, Jennifer Burk of Lilbourn; one stepson, Jason Milam of Portageville; three stepbrothers, Rex Replogle of Cedaredge, Colo., Ray Replogle of Wayne, Neb., and Don Replogle of Oklahoma; and four stepgrandchildren.

He married twice.

He married Virginia Litteral.
