He married Julia A Barker March 20, 1877 in Elliott Co., KY. Julia was born 1860 in Pendleton Co., KY. Julia was the daughter of Jeremiah M Barker and Catherine McMillian.

 1635 v. Wesley Ray Adkins was born April 9, 1891.

 1636 vi. Thomas Lee Adkins was born in Martinsburg, Elliott Co., KY August 26, 1893. Thomas died January 18,1919 in Wrigley, Morgan Co., KY. He married Hester Hoggins. Hester was born 1897 in Martinsburg, Elliott Co., KY.
