He married Carrie Levona Hatcher. Carrie was born March 10,1895 in AL. Carrie was the daughter of Taylor K. Hatcher and Eliza Elizabeth Simmons. Carrie died April 5,1941 in Houston, Harris Co, TX.

Henry Alvin Duncan and Carrie Levona Hatcher had the following children:

 10249 i. Muzon¹⁰ Duncan was born May 4, 1913.

 10250 ii. Jessie Lee Duncan was born October 23, 1915.

 10251 iii. Addie Owana Duncan was born November 29, 1917.

 10252 iv. Everett (Avery) Ray Duncan was born in Jeffeson, Marion Co., TX June 16, 1920. Everett died FEbruary 5, 1993 in Quitman, Brooks Co., TA. He married Louise Franks Works November 1941 in New Orleans, Orleans Parish, LA. Louise was born September 20,1913 in Midlothlan, TX. Louise was the daughter of Robert R Franks and Flora McDonald. Her body was interred at in Lowndes Co., GA.
