William died August 11, 1998 in Augusta, Richmond Co., GA. OBIT: Mr. William Gerald JARRETT SR., 53, of 4431 Randall Road S.E., died Tuesday, Aug. 11, 1998, at Medical College of Georgia Hospital. The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Augusta, with the Revs. Andrew DORIS and Miguel Grave de PERALTA officiating. Burial will be in Westover Memorial Park, Augusta.
Mr. JARRETT, a native of Augusta, had retired from Gracewood State School and Hospital as a grounds supervisor. He was an Air Force veteran and a 1963 graduate of Aquinas High School. He was a Catholic.
Survivors include his wife, Alice P. JARRETT; two sons, William Gerald JARRETT JR., Augusta, and Jade JARRETT, Gainesville, Ga.; a daughter, Libby JARRETT, Augusta; his MOTHER, Dorothy SIZEMORE ZALE, Augusta; four brothers, Charles Robert JARRETT and Michael Russell JARRETT, both of Augusta, Larisey L. JARRETT JR., Warrenville, and Joseph Bernard ZALE JR., Augusta; a sister, Joanne JARRETT PAULOS, Augusta; and one grandchild.
Pallbearers will be Jacob JARRETT, John JARRETT, James JARRETT, Angelo PAULOS, Jesse PAULOS, Stephen JARRETT and Matthew WILBY JR.
He married twice. He married Valery Ann Wilby.
